Sep 8, 2014 I am using a mid 2011 iMac 21 inch running Mavericks 10.
Processor is Intel Core i5.
The printer continued to work after I upgraded from Lion.
Thinking that the printer was not working I recently deleted the drivers.
I have since tried to reinstal it through Printer and Scanner Preferences but the iMac does not recognize it.
Has anyone had this issue before?

Apr 20, 2012 I just added a Time Capsule to my network and my printer was working fine this morning.
Now Lion says it is not connected and when I attempt to download the software from Apple it says it's not available hp laserjet p1102w wireless setup mac mountain lion this time.
Amazon didn't have any information about compatibility and I just assumed it would work a mistake, obviously.
I was ready to return it but a friend of mine pointed out that it might work with Airport Express.
I have Airport Express and it would be great if it would work.
I don't know why it would though.

Feb 20, 2009 before switching to Mac, I used an 'X-Rite Eye One Display 2' color meter device with software.
The device should still work, but I can't find any software for it for the Mac.
After going to the X-Rite web site, I could find no software at all for the Mac as it is only windows based.
Surely someone out there has used a color meter such as this one as they are quite popular especially for graphics artists that use professional graphic monitors.

I experienced the same issue, as have others.
See below: If the utility tab is not showing, go to system preferences and remove the printer.
Ignore any firmware update alerts.
Go back to system preferences and click the plus sign to add the printer.
Under 'Print using', select P1100w 5.
Now you should have the utility option available, and can follow along with the rest of the video.

I had a very difficult time getting the P1102W working wirelessly on a macbook pro with Mountain Lion, however I finally got it to work after countless hours of troubleshooting.
Here are the steps as accurately as I can remember: 1 Turn the printer off 2 Press and hold both the wireless and the cancel button, and then turn the product on 3 Hold the buttons until all the lights blink in unison, and then release the buttons.
This will bring up Safari and displays the printer's settings and this is where you can change the configuration.
From this point, whenever I made changes to the netowrking configuration using Safari and clicked Apply, the changes would not 'stick', no matter how many times I tried.
So, I thought it may be an incompatability with Safari, and sure enough it was.
I downloaded Google's Chrome browser, pasted into the address bar and hit return on the keyboard.
The changes I made using Chrome applied successfully and I connected to my home's wireless.
Specifically: 11 Paste into Chrome and hit return on the keyboard.
It will load the printer Config page.
This will bring up Safari and displays the printer's settings and this is where you can change the configuration.
So I could not get past that point.
No amount of exploration could produce access to what you refer tol as 'printer settings' or 'printer configuration'.
Nonetheless, I then skipped over the subsequent steps and went to step 11.
