A registry needs to be added to enable the higher resolution 1024 x ethernet controller driver windows 7 acer aspire one d257 for Windows 8 applications.

I agree with bnb: Seems the Decice manager pickers up the correct drivers.
If not, when online, kill the current drivers in the device manager and let it pull the latest.
Just add that if the record has already indicated, rename it or delete it and create a new one.
